JOIN OUR TEAM

Anyone is welcome to join our team and help serve as a bridge between the District Attorney’s (DA) department, cultural or faith-based groups, law enforcement and the community at large. All of our members are diverse, from retired individuals to mental health workers and from young mothers to government employees, we provide input, ask questions, and learn from each other.

Members are asked to attend monthly meetings which are always held on the third Tuesday of the month from 3:30 pm to 5:00 pm at the District Attorney’s office, located at: 301 2nd Street, in Woodland, CA 95695.

Members who are unable to attend monthly meetings are expected to notify the DA’s office in a timely manner. Members who have not regularly attended meetings or special events may be subject to removal at the discretion of the DA and the MCCC.

MCCC meetings are closed to the public unless otherwise authorized or invited by the DA or MCCC members. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, a leave of absence may be granted.

Objectives:

  • Function as a neutral and diverse body able to offer advice and guidance to the DA and members of the community.
  • Elevate the presence, credibility and efficacy of the MCCC within the community ad among law enforcement agencies.
  • Organize and conduct public information sharing forums.
  • Develop and maintain an MCCC page of the DA’s website
